David Ruple is the Managing Principal for Euclid Legal Pro, LLC, a lawyers professional liability insurance underwriting managing general agency. Prior to forming Euclid Legal Pro, LLC, Dave was the Senior Vice President at Great American Insurance Company where he was responsible for managing, marketing, and developing of the lawyer’s profession liability product. Prior to this, Dave worked for Aspen Insurance Holdings as Senior Vice President of the open brokerage lawyers’ professional liability group for seven years. He brings 18 years of experience focusing on professional liability, and also has extensive experience in the claims process as well. Dave earned his master’s in business and risk management from St. Peter’s University and has a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
Mike Heffernan

Mike Heffernan is the Co-Managing Principal for Euclid Legal Pro, LLC. Prior to joining Euclid Mike was a ten year Partner at Huntersure, LLC, an MGA specializing in professional liability and a focus in insuring law firms of all sizes. Mike also spent four years with Marsh as a large law firm broker, and managed the Captive reinsurance program for a Big Four accounting firm. Prior to entering the insurance industry, Mike was a practicing attorney and litigator for ten years in New York City. Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo, and his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University.
Jim DeLucia
Chief Claims Officer
Jim DeLucia is the Chief Claims Officer for Euclid Legal Pro, LLC. Prior to joining Euclid, Jim was an associate then partner at Mendes & Mount, LLP, a law firm specializing in the representation of insurance carriers in all facets of professional liability. At Mendes, Jim acted as monitoring and coverage counsel for both domestic and London market insurers with respect to professional liability claims, including high value claims made against multi-national law firms to claims made against sole practitioners. In that role, Jim handled hundreds of complex claims working with both the insureds, defense counsel and the carriers to formulate an effective defense strategy and resolution. Additionally, Jim advised his clients on the effect of policy terms and endorsements and assisted in the drafting of policy wordings to fit his clients’ needs. Jim received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.
